1. Acceptance
By using HopWeGo (the website, the mobile app, or any related service), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Eligibility
HopWeGo is for adults of legal drinking age in their country. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. We don't serve users under that age.
3. What HopWeGo does
HopWeGo recommends beers based on photos of menus and your stated context. Recommendations are guidance, not professional advice — about beer, alcohol, allergens, gluten, or anything else. Always read labels and ask staff if you have allergies or sensitivities.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use HopWeGo to: violate the law, harass anyone, scrape or copy our data, reverse-engineer the service, upload photos of anything other than beer menus, or do anything that disrupts other users.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content to operate HopWeGo (including processing through our OCR provider) and to improve the service. We don't publish your photos.
6. Our content
HopWeGo's brand, mascot, design, and code are ours. You may use the press kit on this site for editorial coverage with attribution. Everything else requires permission.
7. AI output disclaimer
Recommendations are produced by automated systems. They can be wrong. We don't guarantee that any beer is available at the venue, matches the description, or suits any specific person. Use your own judgment, especially around allergies and ABV.
8. Liability
HopWeGo is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — which, for free users, is zero.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Disputes go to the courts of Antwerp.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a new "last updated" date and (for app users) a notice in-app.
